Biography

Jonas Svedlund leads XPO's legal and compliance functions, including corporate governance, litigation and commercial matters. Mr. Svedlund has more than 20 years of leadership experience at global publicly traded companies. Prior to joining XPO, he served as deputy general counsel for Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he oversaw the company’s corporate and commercial legal functions. Before that, he spent more than a decade at General Electric in senior legal executive roles, including serving as general counsel for two separate GE businesses. Mr. Svedlund began his career as a corporate attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP. He holds a juris doctor degree from Harvard Law School and a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
